Aftercare
Be gentle with your extensions! Prior to shampooing, brush your hair with an Aveda detangling wooden paddle brush. Shampoo and condition 48 hours after your application/service in an even downward motion.
Gently towel blot your hair and scalp without tangling your extensions. Blow-dry the root area first and your ends last (use your fingers to separate your extensions – not a brush.) Wait until your hair is about 70% dry before using a styling brush.
Before you go to sleep, gently remove tangles with your fingers and loosely braid your hair. You can secure it with a hair tie. For any outdoor activities or swimming, you must also loosely braid and secure your hair. Rinse your hair with fresh water immediately after swimming in chlorinated or salt water.
