In 1989, I took control of my life and future by making a bold decision to, for the first time ever, steer my own path with a focus on survival and personal growth. As a single parent and salon owner, I embraced the challenge of redefining my professional and personal goals. A pivotal moment came when a client introduced me to Aveda, a brand that aligned with my values of ethical and natural products. This encounter led me to build a successful partnership with Aveda, becoming the region’s top retailer.
Inspired by a transformative experience at the Horst and Friends Salon in Minneapolis, I set out to create a salon that embodied a new standard of service and environment. In 1995, I realized this vision with the opening of “A New Beginning” salon. Despite initial challenges, my dedication to self-care, wellness, and excellence has driven me to build a thriving, ethical salon and spa. My journey continues as I strive to offer unparalleled service and foster a positive, professional atmosphere for all who visit.
